Fort Bill
Welcome to the new page, dedicated to 'THE' DH track in Scotland.
Not long now....
Picture of our trip up to try out the new trail, then after we go to watch the World Cup, the 2 boys are going up this year, so thats more feet on the trail-side cheering the pro's on.
Another Pilgramige to shred the Fort
I headed up there wih Dawnzy, as Stevie couldn't make it this year, we took the caravan for a bit of comfort.
Day 1 : Saturday - Run 1 went like this....Got off at my 1st nemesis & 2nd nemesis & beat myself around the head.
Run 2 : Same as the 1st, Beat myself around the head even more for the rest of the day.
I watched Gee & Sam's lines on Earthed 5 in slow-mo for hours that night.
Day 2 : Sunday - Run 1 went like this....Flew down the trail, so fast that I messed up the last berm up top the new section, took Gee's line down my 1st nemesis & flew off down the rough straight & launched off over this huge boulder, got really excited & nearly lost it.
Railed the berms further down, past where I fell off last year, flowed through my 2nd nemesis & got so much speed up I almost couldn't hold on.
flew into the woods until I came accross Sam's line, I hit it spot on, then forgot to rail the berm & stopped on top of it, got some good flow down to the Tisso/issan jump & launched over it & flew down the Wall at Warp 10 & cleared all the jumps/step downs into the Finish area.
We met a couple of blokes that I rode with on Sunday....

email me guys....
That's it - 1 run - had fun - home - not injured
U.C.I. World Cup

2nd place Elite men - Gee Atherton
3rd place Elite men - Steve Peat

A rough section appeared near the start, rocks rolling down the trail making the next rider change line at the last moment.

It was nice to see how many lines one berm can have....

Now do you understand? Look where you want the bike to go....

The women shredding the Fort....
